# LetterRequest (LegalApi DTO)

`LetterRequest (LegalApi DTO)` is a data-transfer object in the `SAIF.Business.Claim.Legal.LegalApi` component grouping of `SAIF.Business.Claim.Legal`. It represents a single legal-letter print request, tracking the letter type, its hold/print status, number of copies, and target printer, for exchange with LegalApi consumers requesting or reporting on letter printing.*

## Purpose
- Carries the identifying keys (legal case and letter-request sequence numbers), letter type, hold/print dates, copy count, and printer/claimant details needed to describe one letter print request to an API consumer.*
